title sais it, What satiates your hunger best?
is it high protein content? high fibre content? carbs? sugar? calorie amount? high density/large sized foods? or just getting a taste of whatever you're craving?
for me i find my hunger doesn't go according to the content of my food apparently, it does its own wild choices that totally disregard what i do and dont eat.. yet im still trying to focus on getting at least half the required amount of protein as part of my planned intake because for some reason protein seems like the most important to me, aswell as fibre

Same here, fiber and protein are the most filling.
REDUCES HUNGER:
- distractions
- this quote: "Funny, eating tastes a lot like rotting stomach acid." True and makes my stomach turn every time.
- drink water, get in bed for a bit. Hunger pangs come and go
- sprinkle a little plain salt on a plate and lick it
- sip Diet Coke and water
- if you must, chew gum
- LOOK AT THINSPO

Cigarettes.
Coffee.
I really don't mind being physically hungry at all. Its just mental hunger I've got to watch out for, which strangely doesn't seem to have much to do w/ the former.

Can you elaborate on the effect that Sudafed has? I used to enjoy the appetite suppressant effects of cold medicine when I would get high off of them in high school but i never took them purely for dieting.

It definitely raises your heart rate and blood pressure and I find myself not being able to sit still very well. Its like a mild coke high without the euphoria. It's not a bad feeling to me but sometimes the next day it makes me puke probably from the lack of food. I just smoke weed and am good to go again

Seriously though, protein, but when I avoid carbs and have too much protein I get sick and anxious. :/

Well I once had pure protein powder for a month and a half. Literally around 1600 calories worth everyday.
Felt like shit. All of my hormones got fucked up, my emotion was just flat, my sex drive was zero. But I looked absolutely chiselled, you could see my entire serratus and I saw veins that I never saw before. I experienced no bloat either. I had energy but it came in waves, sometimes massive spikes and other times I could literally sleep in the middle of a crowded/noisy place. Protein and fats can work (i.e. keto) but just protein will fuck you over. Fats are essential for hormonal function.

I tried it years ago when I was dieting the 'healthy' way. It works in terms of weight loss. But I'm guessing it's just because limiting your diet to just protein makes you ditch glycogen and water and you probably end up in ketosis.
I'd do it again. It wasn't a horrible diet. I like protein. But you do start to crave fresh produce after a while. And personally I think that adding veggies with your protein source doesn't add much in terms of calories so I see no reason to just eat protein only.
How comes your asking? (Just curious ) x

Google 'dukan diet'. The first phase of that (attack phase) is essentially a protein only diet. It's only recommended you stay on it for a max of 7 days.

Thanks for all the information! And because I wanna have lean muscle and not so much bloat from carbs, sodium, and fat so I figured protein would help with hair, muscle, energy, etc

It's a pretty stupid idea given how unhealthy it is in terms of the load it puts on your system and internal organs. Protein is not a clean source of energy. You also miss out on fats which is essential for a lot of body functions.
Also, people claiming you go into ketosis are dead wrong. The carbon group of the amino acids are assembled to glucose and have an insuline response. You have to substitute your calories with fats if you wanna go into ketosis (which btw is overrated for weight management anyway). Lots of people who think they're in ketosis, are acutally not.
A high protein diet should generally target at around max 1g of protein per lb of lean body mass. That's already a protein level even if you lift weights. You don't need more unless you're a 300lb weight lifter.

I think I read something about a lot of protien being linked to higher uric acid levels in the blood? I also think that higher levels of that can cause gout??
