22/6: 106,8 (BMI: 19.9)

 

Mood: what can I say? it's rare that I lose these 4 lbs so quickly... but it's also rare for me to train and workout as hard as I've been doing since the beginning of June, so I guess that does count. I'm not sure how long this quick loss is gonna last, because usually between the 106's and the 104's is where I plateau the most. Especially when I drop my calorie intake too much, and my body goes in lock-up mode. I think if I maintain this weight for a couple of days or a week at most, it's going to be okay, I'm just going to continue working out and eating in a deficit - if I end up eating mainteanance, that's okay too.
Of course, now that my workboss has criticized my diet and exercise, I want to prove to him that I can lose 2 kg more without his stupid advice and diet, so I'm very motivated. I have no idea why he thought that saying to a 25 year old whom he KNOWS suffered from ED that losing 1.5 kg in 20 days is too little was okay. It was not okay. Not at all. invasive as fuck and also scientifically wrong?? If scientists say that the max. amount of weight you can lose healthily is 2 lbs per week, it's THAT. PERIOD. What a joker.

    Food Log 

     

    Breakfast: croissant and soy cappuccino (285)

    Lunch: 
    veggies, porridge & bread piece (my bf made the porridge so I'm just estimating 400 cals for all of it)

    Dinner: 
    veggies, tuna, cracker + watermelon and some cherries (155)

     

    Total: 940 calories

     

    Activity: I haven't done anything yet today except driving and working at the office... but I was having back pain, so I'm either gonna go for a quick run and then do some yoga/stretching, or leave out the run entirely and only do stretching. We'll see! 

     

    Mood: I was kinda stressed at work and because my bf had a bad fight with a friend of ours, and if he's stressed out I'm stressed out - but actually later in the day I was very happy because I went for a drive preparing for my driving license and it went so good!! I didn't fall, I wasn't scared, I was focused and did all the driving single tests almost perfectly - so I'm so glad I can do it I can do it!! (Taking the driving license used to scare me to death, especially because I'm taking the license for the motorbike).

    thank youuuuuu so so much!! I know I look a bit skinnier on my upper body because I store 99% of my body fat on my ass and legs LOL. You won't see me do body checks there for a while...

    Hey y'all uhm... I have covid so I haven't really been able to control my diet not exercise... I've eaten a lot the first two days of home quarantine, but for the next days of illness I plan on limiting my intake again, taking advantage of the fact that I'm sick... although it's really really hard for me to restrict when I'm at home all day doing nothing lol.
    I'll update you better once this is all over... in the meantime let me just tell you that I ordered Mac donalds yesterday and another burger place the day before... sucks bad...

        Get better soon!! And agreed, please try not to worry about your food and exercise right now. Your body really needs all the help it can get, and restricting now may prevent your body from healing 🥺 could you maybe try changing the food you are eating? Then you may feel better about it.         Yeah, I did do some light home exercises the first day, but from the second day onwards I was like nope lol.
        Thank you for the support, I'm still pretty sick (my nose is stuffed and still feel weak), but at least I feel a little less guilty about the food because I'm doing the cooking and I'm trying to cook hearty healthy nutritional meals for me and bf...

        Yes, I guess if I were in a hospital, it would be easier to restrict because there's no food available 24/7, plus the boredom!!! So much boredom ;u; but I am in a better mood now than I was last week, so hopefully it will improve slowly and I will get back on track when I'm healthy again. No big deal. I still have a lot of time until September anyways. Thank you so much for the message, take care as well ♡♡♡

        Moodobviously very upset that I recovered every single lb I lost during June... but I don't think I worked in vain. I did binge a lot from thursday to sunday, so 4 days of binging... only yesterday I restarted to eat at a mainteanance level (not even restricting yet), so I get that a lot of that weight is food weight and water...I mean, I have to hope it is, or I'll go crazy. 

         

        I did do some Pilates yesterday and I felt super good afterwards. Yes, I still have covid, but now the symptoms are a little better at least. I think I can restart restricting and exercising softly again, so that at least when I'm going back to work (I guess not before friday?), they're not gonna think I put on weight during my break. If I can get back to 108 again this week, that would be enough for me!  

         

        Should I update my signature? I don't want to delete the numbers that I reached... I'm gonna do my best to go back to 106 ASAP.

        1) thursday's breakfast: a peach, coffee, egg + whites
        2) coffee granita I made from scratch which I ate with heavy whipped cream lol
        3) pumpkin gnocchi with fava beans, bacon and parmesan yum yum delish
        4) caprese with tomatoes and mozzarella di bufala (high quality mozzarella)
        5) body check this morning..           I also believe that it is a combination of food and water weight

          You'll get back to 106 in no time!

           

          Despite the gain, I really can't tell the difference in the photos!

          You are such goals and I'm jealous of your small waist

          I feel that I'm shaped like a rectangle, hahah

          Yes, I'm happy the symptoms are down as well.. ;u; I'll try to go for an easy run if I feel good later tonight! And I'm drinking lots of water today hoping to get rid of the water weight... I did poop twice today lol tmi so I'm really really hopeful for tomorrow...
          Thank you so much for the compliments ♡♡♡ my waist is one of the few things I feel confident in... I guess if I didn't have huge thighs I could be considered hourglass shape, so I'm aiming for that in my weight loss journey, because I'm so insecure I think people don't see my small waist because they're distracted by my big butt&legs.
          Let's keep going!! Thank you again for the support it means so much ♡ so many times in the past I would have given up at this weight...

          1) yesterday's lunch or dinner? Brown rice with salmon, eggs and pickled cucumbers

          CommentsGlad a lot of what I gained was water and food weight!! Since yesterday I started restricting to about 1000 calories a day and I felt good about it, didn't feel hungry at all, just a little bit restless because of boredom at home lol (still haven't tested negative, I'll try my luck this evening). Still haven't been able to exercise seriously... maybe today I'll do some more Pilates because I feel so good doing that!! 

           

          June 29th, 2022 Food Log

           

          Breakfast:  Smoothie bowl w/banana, blueberries, pb, flax & some cereal on top (280 about)


          Lunch: half a pasta omelette & greek salad (about 300??)


          Snack: protein yog & cherries (120)


          Dinner: more greek salad, chicken breast, some pieces of melon (again estimating?? 350?)

           

          Total: 1050 calories

           

          Mood: sooo I need to make a statement. Restricting is so hard for people who love cooking. I dunno if someone can understand me, but I am the daughter of a chef. Both me and my sister love cooking, even if we do it a bit simpler than my dad's. Fact is, the more you like cooking the more it's difficult to limit the amount of ingredients you put in dishes, and the more ingredients you use, the harder it is to count calories. I still try but it's really hard not to be approximate when you put +6-7 ingredients in a recipe, even if it's something light and healthy like a salad. 

           

          Reflection: I might try to weight myself every 2 days... I think it's a little bit more balanced and allows the body a bit more time to reach the results.
