A few years ago I went down 20 in like 2-3 months and it was the worst feeling ever. I don't remember how I did it but by the end of it I could barely stand and I became so hostile I fucked up several friendships. Also it was not sustainable and I entered a binge cycle that messed up my mental and physical health.

I did it and maintained (still losing now though). I’ve never binged in my life so I just ate a sandwich and a bag of lays chips for lunch and dinner every day and worked out. If I got super hungry, I drunk a soda.

yes. I’m nearly 130 at the moment. I was about 160 at the start of this year. It’s possible. and tbh it wasn’t that hard. I think the worst part is getting there and realizing you need to lose more

so the consensus is that 30lbs in three months is too fast of a loss :-/

I became a literal shut in from my depression and spent my days watching Netflix from a stationary bike. I really didn’t eat anything but I just wasn’t hungry.

I averaged 15 lbs a month - have maintained for 6 months now. It’s a lot of calorie cycling and low restricting with a lot of exercise. A lot. Like I am doing 10-12 mile walks or runs or 2 hours of hard intensity work at the gym. Or a 30-40 mile bike ride. Daily. With *very* few breaks. I maintain by keeping this up. And scale accountability- even when I know I may have a slight gain, “facing” the music let’s me reset and get back on track because I know it’s a whole lot easier to lose 5 lbs than it is to lose 155 lbs.

I went from 160 to 130 in about 3ish months. I ate under 800-900 calories religiously (a few maitenence days) and I made sure I was hitting at least 12,000-14,000 steps every day (which this was quarentine so it was usually running in place forever.

25lbs from mid Jan-April. Low restricting and lots of fasting and walking. A few binges in there too and mentally exhausting.

could be physically possible dependibng on your sw and metabolic health. if you're already underweight or close to underweight (under bmi 21) or have metabolic damage then no. but generally, possible? yes. but you're very likely to binge it all back shortly afterwards.

yes. I’m nearly 130 at the moment. I was about 160 at the start of this year. It’s possible. and tbh it wasn’t that hard. I think the worst part is getting there and realizing you need to lose more

                                  How’d you do it?

Yeah, I was losing 5kg/month pretty consistently for months in my “first round”, even at BMIs under 22. It fucked me up though and was 100% not worth it, but hey, at least I was a “textbook anorexic”.

😰 I’m on <200 a day currently, but struggling to fast, do you still think I can lose 30lbs by July? 😥😥

i don’t recommend low restriction. i use to eat less than 200 and it damages your body SO MUCH. i barely had any energy. it’s best if you high restrict, it’s much easier to maintain.

don’t be upset cause you don’t lose a certain amount of weight in a specific amount of time. it takes time and patience

😢😢😢😢😢 it took so long to come off in the first place, when I hadn’t even been trying to lose. Now I’m terrified, that coz it was forced gain, I won’t be able to get it off 😪😪😪😪 and I can’t bear being so heavy

Forced into inpatient-came out and my account here was magically gone?

Hmmm weird, right? Whatever, that was years ago. I came back now, and thats all that matters. I missed you all

And Cleopatra used an empty gourd filled with bees as a dildo!

Okay cool thanks for reading - I'm going to go back to starving now.
