My therapist told me that if you ride out a binge urge, it eventually subsides and goes away. I can't binge until next Wednesday and am trying to hold out that long but today I woke up with a massive binge urge, decided for one of the first times I would attempt to resist it.

It peaked in intensity about 1pm, it's now 8:30pm and IT HASN'T CHANGED.

It is killing me. I can't function, my mouth is salivating like crazy, all I can think about it bingeing. I have tried distracting myself, sleeping, drinking lots, eating something small and nothing! It is just as intense as it was at 1.

Someone help me!? When does this magical "subsiding" phase start!?
