Post the most weight you've lost in roughly one month?


Obviously results vary form person to person, depending on so many factors,
but what's the best you've done for you in a month?

    I think I lost 5-6 lbs within the last month, which is more than I've ever lost in the course of a year.

      I lost 10lbs in a month once but it was so hard to keep it off when I started eating a bit more again

        I lost ten pounds in roughly a few weeks. I binged and kind of panicked over how much I would gain, so I quit measuring cals and weighing myself until I got brave enough to do so again, so I think I just kinda scared myself into heavy restriction maybe?

        idk for sure. I'm just glad I broke that plateau

        When I was heavier it was about 10 pounds a month until I got down to 130. Now it's only a few a month.

          from 61kg to 53kg (17.4lbs)  in 21 days (9 day fast followed by 4days of 100-200cal then 4days of 200-300cal and finally 4days of 300-400cal) only worked out on fasting days (20km walk on first day)

            10 - 15 pounds if I am really rigid with my diet/exercise. Now it's usually 5 - 6.

                Oh, and I did it by fasting for a week and a half and restricting the rest of the time to maybe a ritz cracker and a pack of sugar free gum the rest of the time.

                  I don't remember, because I was in a fog during that one relapse when I lost 20+ pounds (didn't know what my starting weight was so yeah...) I'd say around 10-15 pounds the first month. Lost the rest in the next month and plateaued, then went back to treatment.

                      I lost 15 pounds 6 months ago, I went from 125 to 110 in time for me to start school, that was maybe over the course of 3 weeks. I met my current bf and ballooned up to 120. Trying to lose it again.

                        I wouldn't recommend it... I felt like shit and it's honestly one of the most depressed times in my life. I was severely restricting (-300 cals a day) and hitting the gym every day for an hour. I only ate like 5 different food items around that time. I was constantly dizzy and faint and my skin was terrible. I hate my weight and myself now but at least I'm not passing out all the time.

                        When I was heavier I could lose 6 kgs in like 3 or 4 weeks with high restriction and 30 minutes of daily exercise.
                        Now I'd have to be thoroughly exercising (two hours a day) and to restrict very low (like ~400 cals or something) to achieve that. I wouldn't recommend losing too fast anyway. Restriction is gonna make you feel awful sooner or later.

                                  20lbs in 3 weeks fasting but a couple pounds came back after i ended the fast, and i spent a couple more weeks after that low restricting in order to avoid a lot of pounds returning

                                    Like 20lbs back when I was young and a raw vegan. Basically just ate vegetables and one piece of fruit a day.

                                    I lost 21 lbs in a month once, but as you said there were a lot of factors. I was at my heaviest ever and getting off the medication that caused me to gain a bunch of weight to begin with certainly helped as well.


                                    Well, I've lost my friends and I've lost my mind... that's alright, I never really fitted in the line, so to speak...

                                      30lbs but I started at 196lbs so obviously at a higher weight I was bound to lose more than someone who is 120lbs for example as I have more fat to lose, it's slowed down a lot now after week3 (I'm on week4 now)

                                      About 6kg. Restricted under 400 everyday and walked everywhere. Fasted at least once a week. Do not recommend though, I passed out twice and my family ended up finding out about my ED

                                              10 pounds, mostly because I started a job that was really physically intense, and continued not eating much. 

                                              It actually wasn't a conscious decision - but I put that weight back on in a few months :/

                                                20 lbs in a month, went from 165 lbs to 145 lbs. I started drinking 2.5 liters of water a day, did cassie ho pilaties 10 minute abs like every other day, walked for 30 minutes a day, and did 2468 the whole damn time. i moved on to lose another 20 pounds in a little over a month afterward, except i think i switched to a daily intake of 400 calories a day during the week and 600 on the weekends. I was also lightly abusing green tea pills, cut out processed sugars, and lightened up my bread/gluten intake.

                                                    I've lost 13.4 since January 1st as of today. A few years ago I lost about 20 lbs in 7 ish weeks, so like 12 per month

                                                        I lost 23 lbs in 1 month, was running 3-6 miles aday and only eating a half of a turkey wrap when i was so hungry i couldnt take it. Some days i didnt eat anything! I also lived alone and didnt leave my house. I went to the gas station by my house and the clerk was amazed and said how completely different And good i looked! But she said my face looked really skinny (sunkin in)😁 i wish i can do this again but i now have a boyfriend i live with and its hard! Also my mind wasnt all there while i was doing that and i slept alot! I was in a position where i didnt have to work or be around people around that time :(

                                                            i lost 20lbs in a month through a combination of fasting and restricting under 500cals a day. would not recommend. i felt like a zombie.

                                                                I lost 8 lbs in one month after i stopped eating gluten and dairy. I was already restricting and eating 1,200 calories a day.

                                                                25 lbs sick in hospital unable to eat for 3 weeks.

                                                                  Most was 20lbs in about 3 weeks. I was in AIT, which means lots of PT and I was in the thick of my ED which meant I was eating about 250 calories per day.


                                                                  Only one person ever asked if I was eating and fortunately I had decoy takeout for the occasion. Someone else had ordered it and couldn't finish, offered it to me, I took it to my room and put it in the mini fridge. That night, my roommate asked me if I was eating and I was like "uh, yeah. I have some lo mein in there if you want it." I swear someone maxed out luck in my character creation 😂
