    Hi :)

SO my friend once told me she can't wear jeans in summer as it hurts so much when her thighs rub together.

And I wondered if this is common or it's just her

I'm sorry if I offend anyone, I naturally have a thigh gap which is why I'd like to ask you if you have the same problem like my friend :)

Hi I currently have a thigh gap, but without my ED I don’t naturally have one plus I used to be overweight, and I can confirm that yes this is indeed a common problem! I’d recommend to your friend putting baby powder or deodorant on her inner thighs it actually helps tons with the friction

I dont have one and as far as ik thigh gap has a lot to do with ur body type and ur genetics so it technically isnt related to ur weight so dw about being offending :) but I never felt that way. I did get uncomfortable wearing shorts while sitting on a chair in summer for a long time but not sure if thats normal or has to do with not having a thigh gap tho.

When my thighs touched it wasn't a problem. Maybe if I got bigger then it could become one.

I don't have a thigh gap yet. My thighs are extremely muscular at the moment, so it's very difficult for me to get a good thigh gap. I do also have an issue with them rubbing together, but I'm not too concerned about it.

for me jeans help the thigh rubbing??? i live in a really hot area so sweat and friction and shorts do not mix well together. i dont think its a huge problem though unless you are well overweight

I think this is sort an offensive question by nature, but it’s clear that’s not your intention, so I wouldn’t worry about offending people. Be glad you don’t know what it’s like for your thighs to rub together. I personally like to wear pants in the summer because my thighs rub so bad it. :( I can’t wear shorts, skirts, or dresses because my thighs will rub so bad that it will be uncomfortable for a week after. :(

lots of my friends complain about this a lot actually, usually its the chafing, skin and sweaty thighs rubbing together and getting irritated, that hurts them. id say its pretty common, i personally dont experience it, but ive heard friends talk about it my whole life

yeah, i've never experienced chafing either. i don't have a thigh gap but my thighs are probably a lot smaller than hers

I struggled with that at heavier weights, I usually had to throw out jeans after a month or two from the inside part of the pants (between the thighs) rubbing out.

i have thick thighs, and jeans dont hurt at all? its more shorts/skirts/dresses because then theres no material to stop the chafing

I don't have a thigh gap, but my thighs have never really rubbed together, not even at my highest BMI of 22 (which realistically is not high at all I know). But I've heard that it happens a lot even at average BMIs. I'm not sure why I've never experienced it, but I have not.

When i was overweight my thighs rubbed together so much it was painful. I think at the moment my thigh gap is gone (maybe im wrong) but it still doesn't do that right now. Baby powder or deodorant helped with the rubbing

I'm overweight and there was one time I wore skirt without shorts under it and my thighs were all red at the end of the day. Like, all the blood was right under my skin and it hurt so much.

My thighs were red whole week :/
