Woah, what a change. What did you do and how long did it take?
hey!! so it was kind of a long time frame. a little over 2 years. i was struggling with BED when i was at my hw. i had gained 40ish lbs in just a few months. most of my weightloss was due to high "restriction" (1400-1800 cal), going back to a plant based diet, and frequent exercise. i also work at a grocery store so being on my feet all day and lifting/carrying/generally working allowed me to burn a lot of calories, plus exercising outside of work 4+ times a week. i lost 30lbs in 3 months before i hit my first plateau and i was really only trying to lose healthily, it was very high restriction. personally i did not even consider that restrictive. i maintained around 135-125 for a LONG time bc i wasn't lowering my intake, but i upped my exercise. so a lot of the changes were in muscle mass and fat loss. i had a high body fat percentage and currently im around 23%. i was trying to be healthy and attempted recovery again around that weight bc i was experiencing many health issues. i didn't want to get bad again but sadly alot was happening in my life and it triggered me. recovery made me suicidal. i've lost the last 30 lbs in less than a year doing mid-high restriction (700-1300). my natural weight is about 125. my lw is 96lbs back in 2016 but i was maintaining about 108 easily then (i was 14). rn im maintaining 110-108 and still losing. my limit is 1300 rn. it wasn't fast but my health is my #1 priority bc i have POTS IBS and gastroparesis, likely bc of my ed. sorry this was so long lol.
